Lisa Weldon, PMHNP-BC
BOARD CERTIFIED PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner offering medication management for patients suffering from serious mental illness who seek a truly collaborative relationship with their provider.
I have experience working with many different mental health conditions, including Major Depression, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, OCD, and Binge Eating Disorder. I also specialize in helping people slowly taper off their use of benzodiazepines.
Psychiatric medication management is quite personal; I rely on open communication from the patient to achieve best results. Often, we work together to reduce excess medication. My patients have told me that they feel safe, that they feel heard, and that they feel understood.
